Shipping and Delivery

There are three ways to get hold of Boerie.

Online Order and DPD Delivery.

You place your order online for delivery. We try our best to ship every order placed by midday on the same day for next-day delivery. This means if you place your order at midday on Monday, you are going to receive it on Tuesday by DPD. Every order placed after 1pm on Friday will be shipped on Monday. Please note that DPD does not deliver on Bank Holidays. 

Online Order for Collection from our production site in Basingstoke. 

You place your order online and select collection during the checkout process. You can then collect any order placed by Thursday evening on Friday morning between 10am and 12noon from Hassocks Wood, Stroudley Road in Basingstoke, RG23 8UQ.

Come to our shop in Old Basing.

We stock all our Boerie products at our Bakery/Coffeeshop in Old Basing, The Street, RG24 7BW. You can find Boerewors, Biltong and Droewors in the fridge to the right. If you can't find what you are looking for, please ask a member of the team.

A note on national shipping:

We ship nationally; deliveries are free from £75.

Orders below £75 incur a packaging and delivery charge of £6.90. 

We use DPDLocal. We try hard to process all orders within 1-2 days. Sometimes we take longer to process your order. This is either due to low stock or unpredictable drying times for Biltong and Droewors. We don't speed up the drying process of our Biltong and Dreowors by heating them, because we think they taste better dried naturally. This means, depending on humidity levels at the time, the drying time varies and impacts how soon we can pack orders. If you are worried about the speed of your order please call us on 01256 333 561. 

We ship all orders in environmentally friendly, cooled and insulated packaging. Please refrigerate/freeze all products on arrival.

IMPORTANT!

Please note that due to the nature of the produce, it is your responsibility to ensure DPD can deliver to your house. If you are not going to be in, you must specify a secure location, or nominate a neighbour to receive your parcel. If the package cannot be delivered on the second attempt or within 48 hours, the contents will be destroyed. You can specify a secure place or nominate a neighbour via the DPD tracking app. Any questions please call or email us. 

You will see two dates on the product label. The one date shows the production date.

The second one shows the best before date when frozen.

We freeze the Boerewors, Kasegriller and Pork Sausages straight after production. When frozen, the product lasts for 4 months from production. Once defrosted, consume within 3 days.
